One of the latest developments in the construction market is the launch of Bostik Seal N’ Flex Advance; a new generation of high performance expansion joint sealant. Unlike traditional sealant technologies such as polyurethanes and silicones, Seal N’ Flex Advance uses an emerging technology known as hybrid polyurethane (also known as SPUR).
Not only is this formula easier to work with and less hazardous to the installer, it also has many other advantages that ensure sealant installation is faultless, consistent and without delay.
Being a hybrid polyurethane, Seal N’ Flex Advance does not contain any isocyanates, solvents or silicones. These means that unlike common polyurethane sealants in the market, Seal N’ Flex Advance will not experience bubbling issues during
the curing process and will cure at a more stable rate across a more varied temperature range. Additionally, Seal N’ Flex Advance is not influenced by additional moisture or humidity and will adhere to damp surfaces even in the wet. This can be quite beneficial as rain can delay sealing work or damage fresh sealant prior to sufficient curing. Seal N’ Flex Advance will assure minimal or no delays in work due to bad weather and protect newly sealed joints from weather damage.
