STAHLWILLE, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of hand tools, torqueing technology and tool solutions for the automotive sector, has launched the new SmartCheck torque wrench tester.

In offering this new tester for torque wrenches and torque screwdrivers, STAHLWILLE is launching a versatile, easy-to-handle tool that will find a home in any workshop and service vehicle. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the ability to mount it horizontally or vertically, and the revolving display, it can be used virtually anywhere – and is easy to use, too. SmartCheck quickly provides information on whether or not a torque wrench is still within the prescribed tolerances or whether it requires adjustment.

The rotatable display and foil keypad can be turned to the best reading position for the user in seconds with a simple twist.

A power socket is not necessary since the tester can be used either with a mains adaptor or with batteries. Thanks to its combined feature set, the SmartCheck has room in any workshop and on board every mobile service vehicle.

Operating the tester is easy and checking to see whether a torque wrench is still within the prescribed tolerances or requires adjustment is completed in a short time – with STAHLWILLE torque wrenches the adjustment itself can be undertaken through freely accessible adjustment points without dismantling the wrench. The measurement itself is conducted using precise, durable STAHLWILLE measuring technology, which is accurate to ±1% and encased in an impact-resistant plastic housing.

The SmartCheck is available for four torque ranges: 1-10 Nm, 10-100 Nm, 40-400 Nm and 80-800 Nm. It offers the usual operating modes of track, first peak and peak hold. The target torque and tolerances can be individually set.
