Clean Power You Can Rely On

Generator engines are connected to an alternator, which creates the electricity you need to power your products, machines, and tools.

All electricity created from the generator will go through some form of voltage regulation to ensure the power output is useable, but not all generators are created equal because power can be unpredictable and inconsistent. This can be a problem if you need clean, consistent power without any voltage fluctuation.

In the case of a Honda generator, however, you can power on worry free, thanks to a purpose-built voltage regulation system that produces stable, clean power in a smaller, lighter package. Honda engineers developed a revolutionary form of ‘inverter technology’ titled exactly that – by integrating parts from the engine and generator set, such as the combination flywheel/alternator.

This means you can operate a computer or other sensitive equipment from a remote location without the fear of interrupted service or damage to the equipment.

The addition of the Eco-Throttle™ System, which is exclusive to all Honda inverter models further enhances fuel economy, quiet operation, and low emission levels.

Honda’s Eco-Throttle™ system automatically adjusts engine speed to the optimum level, given the usage load, through a load dependent speed control-type governor. This not only results in excellent fuel economy but also makes a quiet generator even quieter. Inverter technology is available on seven Honda generators; just look for an ‘i’ after the model number. The power you can count on when you need it most!
