Leading metal care brand, Hammerite, has launched an eight-week national cinema campaign with a true Australian theme.

From 22 September to 10 November, 2016, cinema-goers will witness Edward ‘Ned’ Kelly and his metal helmet wearing team of Brushrangers, roam the suburbs repainting and upcycling rusty metal furniture, trailers and fences for the community.

A one-tin solution for metal furniture and other items, Hammerite provides a superior finish that is touch dry two hours after the second coat. Simply apply directly onto metal without using a primer or undercoat first.

Brian Hamilton, managing director of Tenaru Timber & Finishes – distributor of Hammerite – says the Brushrangers campaign is a creative and humorous way of sharing the key benefits of Hammerite with the cinema audience.

“This campaign is designed to inspire consumers and get them thinking about simple projects they can do at home.

“The schedule for the campaign targets cinemas near our customers, to help drive traffic into store. Print advertising, instore point of sale and a consumer competition on the Hammerite Australia Facebook page will coincide with the campaign.”
