It’s time to ditch the shovel, and drop the old drill. STIHL’s comprehensive range of augers combines cutting edge technology with user comfort.

Paying attention to user safety and comfort, STIHL’s range of augers allows you to select the right tool for the job. Whether you are drilling planting holes, fence posts or taking soil samples, STIHL has an auger to suit your needs.

“We know the auger has many different uses – whether you’re working the land or on a building site. STIHL gives you the right machine for the job,” says STIHL Product Manager, Andrew Dawson.

“Our auger range has everyone covered, from the construction worker to the farmer.”

A good all-rounder, STIHL’s BT 45 hand-held petrol drill is ideal for drilling wood and steel. The BT 45 boasts a two-speed gearbox with a reverse gear for releasing jammed drill bits and anti-vibration system for virtually vibration-free drilling. This lightweight drill has many accessories including a convenient carry handle, planting auger handle kit and a suspension safety hook (belt strap).
If you’re landscaping or building, the STIHL BT 121 one-person earth auger is the tool for you. This 1.3kW auger delivers on performance and operator comfort, featuring comfortable hip padding and a vibration reducing handle design to prevent fatigue. It’s high on safety, with a drill brake safety clutch that stops the machine when the bit jams.

For jobs requiring some serious grunt, look no further than STIHL’s BT 360 – a powerful 3.0kW, two-person auger. Take on the tough soils with this top of the range machine, featuring a folding support frame for easy transport and storage.
