AEG Nailers – Made With Aussie Timbers In Mind

Advances in cordless tool motors and battery technology suggest it is a no-brainer to have at least one cordless nailer in your toolkit. No bulky air hoses and compressors to contend with, no gas cartridges to buy, plus very little maintenance required.

AEG has two high-performance brad finish nailers both of which use AEG’s Brushless motor to power the Pro Drive vacuum technology for fast shot times, less maintenance and easier servicing.

“Brushless motor technology, combined with our FORCE batteries, delivers impressive performance, reduced shot latency and longer runtimes, so contractors get more uptime and better results on their projects,” says AEG Power Tools Product Manager, Mathew Bechaz.

“AEG nailers have been developed with Australian timbers in mind,” Mat says. “Our hardwoods and softwoods are unique to Australia, but some nailers are designed for US timbers, like white pine – which is much softer than our yellow pine – and results in constant adjustments to nailers to deliver repeated results in our local timber building products.”

AEG’s 15GA and 16GA Brushless Nailers also feature individual tool-free power and countersink adjustments for more precise, professional results.

Users can also choose between sequential and bump fire nailing options. Both nailers also have dry fire lock-out, which stops the nailer when the magazine has only 0-5 nails left.

The 15GA DA Nailer – great for fixing door jams and window trims, fires up to 1700 x 65mm brads into pine per charge on a 6.0Ah battery. While the 16GA Nailer – ideal for skirting boards and architraves– fires up to 2000 x 65mm brads into pine per charge on a 6.0Ah battery.

They both feature a bright LED light for improved accuracy in poorly-lit workspaces, a belt hook and two no-mar pads.
